This was taken early in the morning as the mist was being burnt away by the sun. It is a combination of two shots taken a few seconds apart while the light was still the same. A timelapse in one image.

This is a path leading towards Lambridge woods in the distance which is shrouded in mist. The early morning light is pouring in from above the town of Heney on Thames and slowly burning off the mist.

A frosty and mist-covered morning over the Thames Valley. This image is looking towards Remenham and Hurley from near Ice House Lane in Fawley. I have never seen the view from here as fantastic since that morning.

This is early morning in the spring looking down onto the ruins of St James’ Church in Bix near Middle Assendon.

There is a reason for the name of this location along the Thames River towpath. The Wellington boots are essential when looking for images here on a cold winter morning such as this.

Just before sunrise the sky is starting to light up as the sun reflects from below the horizon, and the mist slowly lifts from the river.
